Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress Munmun Dutta, who plays Babita Krishnan Iyer, has reportedly got engaged to actor Raj Anadkat, who was seen as Jethalal’s son Tapu in the sitcom. According to a report in News18, the actors got engaged in the presence of their family members in Vadodara, Gujarat earlier this month. A source close to the actors told the news portal, “Munmun and Raj’s families have accepted their relationship and they were also present at the ceremony.”

The source also revealed that they have been dating since Raj joined Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in 2017. In fact, everyone on the sets of the show knew about their relationship. The actors of the show always remain tight-lipped about their personal lives and focus on their work. The news of Munmun and Raj’s relationship first surfaced in September 2021.

Whereas Raj is 27 years old and Munmun is 9 years older than him. Reportedly, despite the age difference, both the actors are madly in love with each other. However, both the actors are maintaining silence about their relationship. A few years ago, their Instagram exchanges also fueled speculations about a blossoming romantic relationship, however, talks eventually died down after both the actors denied the rumours.

While Raj had said that the stories were ‘fabricated’ and ‘fake’, Munmun had criticized trolls and the media for spreading rumours.
