BCCI Annual Contract: Women’s Cricket Association board meeting, new contract list for players released

Pudhari Online Desk : BCCI Annual Contract : The BCCI has released the annual contract and category for the senior players of the Indian Women’s Association. On Thursday (Dec. 27) the petition was announced. Players are divided into three such categories A, B and K.
Mahila Sanghachi Captain Harampreet Kaur, Upkarndhar Smriti Mandhana and Ashtapailu Deepti Sharma have got places in A category for 2022-23 commotion. A total of 17 women players have been signed with the national federation for the ongoing season. Only bowlers Poonam Yadav and Rajeshwari Gaikwad or first-class contracts for the year have been left out of the list.
Only Shefali Verma remains in the ‘B’ category. Jemima Rodríguez and Richa Ghosh have got a boost and along with them, Renuka Thakur, Rajeshwari Gaikwad have been included in the new category. On the other hand, Pooja Vastrakarchi has fallen in the category from ‘B’. And Poonam Rautla has not been able to get the single category position mentioned in Yanda’s agreement. Whereas Meghna Singh, Devika Vidya, Sabbhineni Meghna, Anjali Sarwani, Sneh Rana, Radha Yadav, Harleen Deol and Yastika Bhatia have been selected in ‘A’ category.
‘A’ category women cricketers will get Rs 50 lakh annually, ‘B’ category players Rs 30 lakh and ‘C’ category players will get Rs 10 lakh annually.
The annual contract category for Indian women will be as follows:
Category A: Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Deepti Sharma
B Category: Renuka Thakur, Jemima Rodrigues, Shafali Verma, Richa Ghosh, Rajeshwari Gaikwad
Category A: Meghna Singh, Devika Vaidya, S. Meghna, Anjali Sarwani, Puja Vastrakar, Sneh Rana, Radha Yadav, Harleen Deol, Yastika Bhatia
