Mumbai: Actress Raveena Tandon has revealed that she rejected five film offers before making her debut with Salman Khan in 1991’s ‘Patthar Ke Phool’. The actress revealed that she had received offers for many films before Patthar Ke Phool. Speaking on Kiska Brand Bajega, the actress said that I had already said no to five films.

She said, ‘I was in the college canteen, and I came in and said, ‘Guess who I’ve been offered a film with,’ and she said, ‘Who?’ And I said, ‘Salman Khan’, and all my friends were like, ‘Yayy!’ The actress then revealed that the process from accepting the film to starting work on it was very quick. Raveena said, ‘So I said yes.

The next day I did a photoshoot with Salman and on the third day I was doing a film. Directed by Ananth Balani and written by Salim Khan, ‘Patthar Ke Phool’ revolves around a young police officer and a gangster’s daughter. After ‘Paththar Ke Phool’, Raveena and Salman have worked together in many films, which include ‘Andaz Apna-Apna’, ‘Kahin Pyar Na Ho Jaaye’ etc.
