Ahead of the release of Jawaan on Thursday, Shah Rukh Khan along with daughter Suhana Khan and co-star Nayanthara offered prayers at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati.

Ahead of the release of Jawan on September 7, Shah Rukh Khan has been visiting one temple after another to seek blessings. With only a few days left for the release of Jawan, Shah Rukh visited the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati on Tuesday. His daughter Suhana Khan and Jawan co-star Nayanthara also joined him. Nayanthara’s husband filmmaker Vignesh Shivan was also seen with her.

Pictures and videos of Shah Rukh from Tirupati are going viral ever since they surfaced on social media on Tuesday morning. Wearing a cream mundu, short kurta and a matching stole with a gold border, Shah Rukh prayed at the temple. He gave flying kisses to the devotees outside the temple and expressed his gratitude with folded hands. Dressed in a white salwar-kameez, Suhana Khan held her father’s hand. Nayanthara and Vignesh were also dressed in white for the temple visit.

Last month, Shah Rukh Khan was seen visiting the Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu and Kashmir amid tight security ahead of the audio launch of Jawan in Chennai. However, this was not his first visit to the temple. Earlier, he had offered prayers at the Vaishno Devi temple ahead of the release of ‘Pathan’ in January this year.

Directed by Atlee and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Jawan stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, Yogi Babu and Ridhi Dogra among others. It will release across theaters in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

There is so much buzz about Jawan that the film is expected to become Shah Rukh’s second ₹100 crore opener this year after ‘Pathan’. The same year could also be another ₹1000 crore grosser for the young actor. The film can be viewed in 2D and IMAX formats, with the most expensive ticket being sold at Ambience Mall in Delhi, priced at Rs 2400.
