‘Chengiz’ is the first film to be released in Hindi. While many South films have been released in Hindi language, now Bengali films are also ready to make a mark in the Hindi film market. Jeet will be seen in an important role in this film. Apart from them, Shataf Figar, Sushmita Chatterjee and Rohit Bose Roy will also be seen in prominent roles in the film.

The story of Kolkata’s underworld

The story of the film revolves around the underworld fabric of Kolkata from the 70s to the mid 90s. The film captures and chronicles the journey of ‘Chengiz’, an underworld kingpin who rules the streets. Jeet has molded himself well in the gangster avatar for this film and has given a real look to his character.

Will be released in theaters on 21 April

Produced by Jeet, Gopal Madnani and Amit Jumrani, ‘Chengiz’ is directed by Rajesh Ganguly, who also worked on the dialogues and screenplay. Based on the story of Neeraj Pandey and Rajesh Ganguly, the film is set for release on Eid, 21 April 2023.
