Bhola: Advance booking started 11 days ago, 1200 tickets sold in 2 hours

The year 2023 has been a good start for Hindi cinema. 700 crore business has been done at the Hindi box office in the first quarter of the year and all eyes are on the film Bhola to be released on the last day of the quarter. After the unexpected success of last year’s film Drishyam-2, Ajay Devgan is once again coming in front of the audience. Like every film, Tabu will be seen in the lead role with him in this film as well. With the well-planned promotion of Bhola, Ajay Devgan has managed to hook the audience with him. We got the proof of this yesterday on Sunday when more than 1200 tickets of this film were sold in 2 hours as soon as the advance booking of the film started. This proves that the audience is very excited about Bhola.

Directed by Ajay himself, the film is the official Hindi remake of the 2019 Tamil film Kaithi, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring Karthi in the lead role. However, Ajay Devgn says that his film is not a remake of Bhola Kaithi, but is based on it. Significantly, despite being a remake, Ajay Devgan’s Drishyam 2 surprised everyone because, despite being an official remake, it did a phenomenal job at the box office, earning over 200 crores in India. A lot of changes were made in this film directed by Abhishek Pathak. Ajay Devgan has done the same thing in Bhola.

Advance booking of the film started on Sunday. It is an interesting move as the release is scheduled for March 30 and there are still 11 days to go. The Ajay Devgn starrer is performing impressively as within 2-3 hours, 1200+ tickets have been sold across the country including IMAX and 4DX versions.

The makers have opted for blockbuster pricing strategy, which is helping Bhola in a big way. As per last night’s update, the film has collected 7.05 lakhs in advance bookings, which includes 4.25 lakhs for the IMAX 3D version.

It’s been an impressive performance so far and we expect Bhola to pick up more momentum as we get closer to the release date.
