Bhola Teaser 2 | Teaser release of Ajay Devgan and Tabu’s film Bhola, a rock will collide with a hundred devils

Mumbai Film actor and director Ajay Devgan will soon be seen in his upcoming film Bhola. She said on Tuesday that having done films both commercially and independently with different directors has paid off for her directing Bhola. Ajay Devgn is returning to direction with the film Bhola. Earlier, he directed the action film Runway 34 last year. He has directed as well as acted in films like U Me Aur Hum (2008) and Shivaay (2016). On the question of his ideal director, he said, it is difficult to name any one director. But his association behind the camera with renowned filmmakers such as Govind Nihalani, Mahesh Bhatt, Mani Ratnam, Ram Gopal Varma, Prakash Jha and Rohit Shetty proved to be of immense help in his growth.

Ajay Devgan said, when I started my career, I did not work in art cinema. After which he worked with Tabu in Takshak, a film by Govind Nihalani. Then I worked with producers like Bhatt Sahab, Ramgopal Varma Prakash ji, Rituparno Ghosh and Mani Ratnam. Speaking to reporters at the teaser launch of the film Bhola, Devgn said, “I have learned a lot from commercial films and also from art films to maintain honesty and realism.” I have learned from every director. The 53-year-old actor believes that today the line between mainstream and independent films has blurred and with Bhola he has attempted to merge these two streams of cinema. As a project, I wanted to focus on every aspect of the film, said the actor. Filmmaking is about storytelling, so I wanted to focus on storytelling.

The film is the Hindi adaptation of the Tamil hit film Kaithi written and directed by Bhola Lokesh Kanakaraj in which Karthi played the lead role. The story of the film revolves around a recently released prisoner who sets out to meet his daughter but gets caught in a fierce encounter between the police and the drug mafia. The film will release on March 30, in which Tabu and Sanjay Mishra will also be seen.

Talking about working in the film Bhola, actress Tabu said, working in the film was very different as it was the first time I saw Devgan as a director. He was not the old Ajay Devgan that I have known for so many years. He was someone else. Anyway he laughs less and talks less but as a director he completely forgets to tell me what to do in a shot. Bhola is backed by Ajay Devgn Films, T-Series Films, Reliance Entertainment and Dream Warrior Pictures.
