Big B praised Jhulan Goswami’s bowling, admitted defeat on Mithali Raj’s question

New Delhi. Bollywood’s ‘Shahenshah’ Amitabh Bachchan praised the bowling style of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami and said that the way she bowls is frightening.

The cine icon failed to answer a question on former cricketer and India women’s national cricket team captain Mithali Raj.

The megastar, who is the host of the quiz-based reality show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 15’, welcomed cricket sensations Ishan Kishan and Smriti Mandhana on the hot seat.

A toss took place during the gameplay and the cricketers won it.

On losing the toss, Big B said, ‘Sometimes we win even after losing the toss. So what should I do now?

Ishaan said, ‘Sir, we will play Super Over with you again. You will be asked questions.

Smriti asked the ‘Piku’ fame actor, “Sir, first question.” Who is known as ‘Chakda Express’ in the Indian women’s cricket world? Sir, he is from Kolkata and is a great cricketer and a film is being made on him.

After thinking for a while, Amitabh replied, ‘This is Jhulan Goswami. She makes many people’s blood run cold. The way she bowls is intimidating. I get scared seeing them on TV. The way she bowls, I’m afraid she might break someone’s head!’

Let us tell you, actress Anushka Sharma is all set to play the role of Jhulan Goswami in the biopic ‘Chakda Express’.

The film directed by Prosit Roy also stars Renuka Shahane in an important role.

After this, Smriti asked another question to Big B, on which Indian female cricketer is the film ‘Shabash Mitthu’ based?

Giving a hint to the actor, Ishaan said, ‘Sir, you will know from the name of the film itself.’

The ‘Brahmastra’ actor didn’t know the answer, and said he would give up.

Smriti replied this is Mithali Raj.
