In this train, non-veg breakfast and food will be served only to those passengers who have already booked the travel tickets. A letter has been sent to the CMDs of all zonal railways and IRCTC. Instructions have also been given to improve the quality of food in the train.

Railway Board has issued the order for change. It is said that the current ticket is booked till 15 minutes before the departure of the train. In such a situation, the service provider has less time to prepare food for them. This is the reason why arrangements have now been made to serve only vegetarian food to such passengers.
Special trains will run for Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi
In view of the rush of railway passengers on the festivals of Dussehra, Diwali and Chhath Puja, Northern Railway will run two special trains. From next month, both trains will run from Cantt station to Shrimata Vaishno Devi Katra and New Delhi. Major trains from Varanasi to Vaishno Devi are Begumpura Express, Himgiri Express, Kolkata-Jammuthavi and Archana Express. These trains go only till Jammutawi.
These trains will run from October 22
From 22nd October to 26th November, train number 01654 will leave from Vaishno Devi every Sunday at 11.20 pm. It will reach Varanasi the next day at 11.55 pm. From October 24 to November 28, train number 01653 will leave from Cantt station every Tuesday at 6.20 am and will reach Katra at 11.20 am the next day. From November 6 to November 30, train number 04080 will depart from New Delhi at 7.20 pm on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and reach Varanasi at 9.45 am the next day.
