Student Of The Year 3: Karan Johar is one of the most popular filmmakers of Bollywood and has given many blockbuster films in his career. These days the director is enjoying the success of series like ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ and ‘Showtime’. Recently, Karan participated in the Cinevistar International Film Festival (CIFF) in Chandigarh and shared some details about ‘Student of the Year 3’. He told that ‘Student of the Year 3’ will be a web series and it will be directed by Reema Maya.

Talking about teaming up with new directors and writers, Karan gave the example of Reema and said that Reema Maya will be directing the digital version of Student of the Year. He further added, “But it will be their way and definitely not mine, because if I enter Reema Maya’s world, I will make it more confusing. I am just telling you this as their voice. She will make this series in her own style.”

Who is Reema Maya?
Reema is an international award-winning writer-director and co-founder of the production house, Catnip. She is an independent filmmaker, known for her short films. His short film Counterfeet Kunku received a good response at the Sundance Film Festival 2018. His most recent film is Nocturnal Burgers, which premiered in the Short Film Program section at the Sundance Film Festival 2023. He has also directed videos for brands like Netflix, Red Bull and boAt.
