The top six contestants are Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Shiv Thackeray, Priyanka Chahar Chowdhary, Shalin Bhanot, MC Stan and Archana Gautam. These six are fighting for the trophy. But now the time has come to choose the top 5. In the episode of Bigg Boss 16, we saw fans entering the house to meet the contestants. These viewers have chosen the top 5 contestants of the show and they have not named Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia.

Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia has been evicted from Bigg Boss 16 after a sudden mid week eviction. The top 5 finalists of Bigg Boss 16 are Shiv Thackeray, MC Steyn, Priyanka Chahar Chowdhary, Archana Gautam and Shalin Bhanot. In the latest episode, for the first time in the history of the show, Bigg Boss gave viewers a chance to enter the house and vote for their favorite contestant. As a result, Nimrit was eliminated while MC Stan, Shiva, Archana, Priyanka and Shalin made it to the top 5. As the voting began on the show, six contestants including Nimrit tried to convince the viewers with their speech and dance performances why they deserve to be in the top 5. Nimrit, with the least number of votes, was evicted with immediate effect. After her surprise eviction, Nimrit expresses her shock and dismay. The actor is best known for his TV show Choti Sarrdaarni.

Talking about missing out on her elimination from Bigg Boss 16, Nimrit told The Times of India in a new interview, “It was unexpected. No one expected this. Just seven days before the finale, knowing about the mid-week elimination gives a jitter. Inside the house, we fought very hard and gave our best shot for so many weeks. To be honest, I would have been disappointed if I had been thrown out because of the all-India poll. But in the current scenario, I don’t have much to say. We had three rounds with a set of live audience selected on the OTT app and voted for their favourite. The first round was about sharing our journey and why we should be in the finals, the second was talking about the opponents and the third round was about entertaining the audience, after which the audience had to vote.

Saying that she is proud of herself and her journey, Nimrit also said that she deserves to be in the top 5 of Bigg Boss 16 as compared to other contestants who reached the top 5. He said that I know what my contribution has been inside the house. So I should have stayed there more than others. There, I know I did. There are people like Shaleen and Archana who are still inside the house. This is a reality show and we must emphasize on real people.

Salman Khan is hosting Bigg Boss 16 from October 2022. In last weekend’s episode, filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan and filmmaker Karan Johar replaced Salman as the hosts. The grand finale of Bigg Boss 16 is expected to take place on February 12, 2023.
