Mumbai Munawar Faruqui was declared the winner of the 17th season of the reality show Bigg Boss in the star-studded grand finale held on Sunday night. Munawar, who started with 61 lakh fans on Instagram and currently has 1.13 crore fans, took home the trophy along with a whopping amount of over Rs 50 lakh and a Hyundai Creta car.
After spending 105 days inside the house, which is considered one of the toughest, Munnawar retained the spot along with the other four top contenders Ankita Lokhande, Mannara Chopra, Abhishek Kumar and Arun Mahashetty. Salman also congratulated Abhishek and said that he played really well.
In the Bigg Boss house, Munawar got great support from many celebrity friends like Badshah, Raftaar, Emiway Bantai, Ganosh Acharya, Karan Kundrra, MC Steyn and Prince Narula. The top 5 contestants were also seen performing on popular Bollywood tracks.
Ankita with her husband Vicky Jain in Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum. Abhishek was seen performing on Bekhayali from the film Kabir Singh, Arun danced with his best friend and former contestant. Mannara spread her magic on the song Besharam Rang. Then Munavvar danced with Mannara on Twist.
Many celebrities like Ajay Devgan, R. Madhavan, Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Sudesh Lahiri, Ori, Abdu Rozki, Sunil Shetty, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan also attended the grand finale of the 17th season.
The grand finale was also attended by former contestants like Vicky Jain, Sonali Bansal, Sana Raees Khan, Esha Malviya, Manasvi Mamgai, Neil and Aishwarya Bhatt, Rinku Dhawan, Ayesha Khan, Tehelka, Jigna Vora, Navid Sole and Samarth Jurel.
