Patna: Bihar Orthopedic Association in association with Indian Orthopedic Association is going to organize one day “Patna Rheumatology Course 2023” on 9th April (Sunday) at Hotel Chanakya, Patna. Eminent faculty from across the country will deliver lectures and discuss the difficult clinical scenarios of rheumatology.

A press conference was held at Hotel Chanakya on Saturday to give detailed information about this course. Addressing the reporters, Organizing Secretary Dr. Rajeev Anand said that this course will provide necessary guidance to orthopedic surgeons through practical suggestions in the management of various rheumatology conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthropathy and other rheumatic diseases.

In this, eminent faculty trainers including Dr. SS Amarnath from Bengaluru and Dr. SS Jha from Patna will deliberate extensively on developing non-operative treatments for osteoarthritis. Dr. Yogesh Kamath from Mangaluru will also discuss various technical aspects in hip and knee joint replacement. During this course, special emphasis will be given on early detection and diagnosis of rheumatic diseases, so that the disease can be stopped at the earliest by initiating targeted treatment.
Training of orthopedic surgeons
Dr. Renuka, Immunopathologist, Bangalore will discuss various detailed tests including various biomarkers. Dr. Renuka will also train orthopedic surgeons in disease forecasting using various biomarkers.
