Bokaro’s Bollywood actor Janardan Jha becomes member of Film Development Council of Jharkhand, notification issued

Kasmar: Bollywood actor Janardan Jha, resident of Chandankiyari, Bokaro, has been made a member of the Film Development Council of Jharkhand. Special Secretary, Information and Public Relations Department of Jharkhand has issued a notification in this regard on Friday. In this 24-member council, the Secretary of the Information and Public Relations Department has been made the Chairman and the Managing Director of Jharkhand Film Development Corporation Limited has been made the Member Secretary. The remaining 22 members include the Assistant Director of the Information and Public Relations Department and the Legal Head of Jharkhand Film Development Corporation Limited, besides artists from different places of the state. It was informed that the functions of this Council are to discuss from time to time long term strategies for the development of films in Jharkhand, to advise the Government regarding creation and strengthening of infrastructure required for the development of films, to attract investment in the film sector. This specifically includes formulating the strategy for and monitoring the implementation of the film policy. Here, there is happiness in the entire district including Chandankiyari due to the appointment of Janardan Jha as a member of the council. Residents of Chandankiyari say that this has increased the prestige of Chandankiyari as well as the entire Bokaro district.

Introduction of Janardan Jha

Janardan Jha is the son of late Sunil Kumar Jha, resident of Chandankiyari. He started his film career in 2015 with Neeraj Pandey’s film ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’. After this there was no looking back. Till now he has worked in dozens of films, web series and serials and now he needs no introduction in Bollywood. Recently he also got a chance to work with Amitabh Bachchan.
