Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan calls actress Shefali Shah as Malkinji. Shefali Shah will be seen in the upcoming episode of the reality game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 15, aired on Sony Entertainment Television. The host of the show, Amitabh Bachchan fondly called Shefali Shah as ‘Malkinji’.

The reason behind this lovely name is from the time when Amitabh shot the film ‘Waqt: The Race Against Time’. Amitabh Bachchan revealed how Vipul Shah, who is Shefali Shah’s husband, had approached him with the script of the film and he immediately agreed to be a part of it. Shefali played the role of Amitabh’s wife in the film.

Recalling the shooting days, Amitabh jokingly said, Shefali Shah is Vipul Shah’s wife and she was playing the character of my on-screen wife. But the way she was on the film sets made me know who is the ‘Malady’ of the house! She held command and gave directions wherever necessary. That’s when I thought he was ‘awesome’!
