What is Cervical Cancer?

Cervical cancer usually develops slowly over time. Before cervical cancer appears, cervical cells undergo changes called dysplasia, in which abnormal cells appear in the cervical tissue. Over time, if not removed, the abnormal cells may develop into cancer.

But now that it has been made free, more and more people will be able to take advantage of it. The expert said, “The main cause of cervical cancer is unsafe physical relations and especially when it is not one but the other.” It should be made with more people.” He further said that ”This disease is often detected in its last stages because its symptoms are quite common and women often consider them common and do not pay much attention to them.”
How is the risk of cervical cancer emerging in Jharkhand?
If we talk about Jharkhand, the number of patients suffering from this disease has increased by 13 percent as compared to earlier. According to a report of NFHS, 0.5 percent of the total population of women in the state have got themselves screened for cervical cancer, which includes both urban and rural women. It was told in a WHO report that every eighth woman in India is likely to get cervical cancer.
How to recognize symptoms of cervical cancer
There are many symptoms of cervical cancer which mainly include vaginal bleeding after sexual intercourse, between menstruation or after menopause, menstrual bleeding which is heavy and lasts longer than normal, sexual intercourse. Symptoms include pelvic pain or pain. If you experience any of these symptoms, you should get yourself tested as soon as possible.
What was special for women in the last budget?
A special Mahila Samman Savings Certificate Scheme for women was launched by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the general budget of 2023. The objective of this scheme was to promote women empowerment. Along with this, there was also talk of arranging a national digital library for children and teenagers. In the last budget, it was told by the government that under Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana, rural women have been linked to 81 lakh self-help groups.
