Bahubali turned leader is Anand Mohan. His wife Lovely Anand is contesting elections from Shivhar on JDU ticket. Anand Mohan, who represented Shivhar in 1996 and 1998, was released only in April last year after being in jail for more than 16 years in the 1994 murder case of then Gopalganj DM G Krishnaiah. His release became possible when the then government made some changes in the jail manual, which provided him relief. But still Anand Mohan cannot contest elections, as a rule, convicts who have been in jail for more than two years are barred from contesting elections till six years after their release. Therefore now his wife has been given the ticket. However, Lovely Anand has earlier won the Lok Sabha elections from Vaishali and the Assembly elections twice.
Awadhesh Mandal’s wife gets RJD ticket from Purnia

His wife Bima Bharti, a five-time MLA and former minister of the previous Grand Alliance government, has recently left JDU and joined RJD. Ramesh Kushwaha changed party and gave ticket to his wife
Apart from this, former MLA Ramesh Kushwaha has fielded his wife Vijayalakshmi Devi from Siwan on JDU ticket. Kushwaha, who was associated with CPI-ML, came into limelight when he lodged an FIR against the then powerful Siwan MP Mohammad Shahabuddin in connection with the murder of JNU student leader Chandrashekhar in 1997. In 2018, the High Court had ordered to prosecute him in the Shivji Dubey murder case that took place in 1997. Ramesh Kushwaha left Upendra Kushwaha’s party a week ago and joined JDU along with his wife. At present, Siwan is being represented in the Lok Sabha by JDU leader Kavita Singh, who is the wife of Bahubali leader Ajay Singh.

Ashok Mahato, who has the image of Bahubali in Nawada, Shekhpura and Nalanda, got married in the month of Kharmas also on 19th March. RJD leader Mukesh Yadav’s wife gets ticket from Jamui
