Sara Ali Khan’s landing in France trended on social media throughout the day. After a long wait, we finally got to see her red carpet walk. Sara chose to go desi in a royal Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga with a veil on her head. The actress posed like a pro and looked confident as she posed for the pictures.
Asked how she was feeling, Sara told shutterbugs on the red carpet, “Nervous, I’ve always dreamed of being here someday, and I can’t believe I’m here.”
Talking about her look, Sara said, “It’s a traditional and modern Indian handmade design by Abu and Sandeep (Khosla). I’ve always been proud of my Indianness. It symbolizes who I am, it’s fresh.” It’s modern and has traditional roots.”

Cannes lineup from India
Actress and 2017 Miss World Manushi Chhillar also made her Cannes debut in 2023. Esha Gupta just made her Cannes debut and was part of the team led by Union Minister of State Dr L Murugan. Besides him, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who has been a stalwart at Cannes, will attend along with Aditi Rao Hydari.
The film festival will begin in France from May 16 and run till May 27, 2023.
