Chahatt Khanna says that in May 2018, he got a call to attend a school program in Delhi as a judge. He said, ‘I visited Delhi on May 18, 2018. At the Mumbai airport, I met a lady named Angel Khan who said she would accompany me to the event. When we landed in Delhi, we took a car to go to school. But after a while we suddenly stopped and he said that we would have to change the car as it would not be allowed inside the school. We then got into a gray Innova and within seconds I realized that we were outside Tihar Jail. When I asked him about this, he said that we have to go to the school through the jail.

Angel is reportedly one of the aliases of Pinky Irani, who reportedly introduced several actresses to Sukesh. He was first arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in 2021 and again by the Delhi Police last year to probe his involvement in the Rs 200 crore extortion case against Sukesh.

After spending 20-25 minutes inside the jail, Chahat remembers going with Angel. “We went straight to the airport and on the way Angel gave me around Rs 2 lakh as ‘shagun’ and told me that Sukesh likes me,” she added. Chahat says that after May 2018, Sukesh called her two-three times from jail. She said – He used to call me from international numbers and claimed that he could call me from any number – including my husband! These calls would last for about a minute and he would ask about my kids and ask if I needed anything.

Chahat Khanna was scared in that jail room
Chahat says that after realizing that he was in Tihar, they started shouting and asked to stop the car but the woman kept pacifying them and before they could understand anything, they were inside Tihar Jail. She said- I knew that I was trapped and got scared thinking about my two children. As soon as we got down from the car, we were taken to a room. I remember the room was full of laptops, watches and expensive luxuries.

In the room, Chahat was introduced to a man who called himself Sekhar Reddy. She says, ‘He was wearing a fancy shirt, sprayed a lot of perfume and was wearing a gold chain. He introduced himself as the owner of a popular South TV channel and nephew of J Jayalalithaa. He said that he was arrested for tampering with EVMs during elections but was being given VIP treatment in jail. He said that he is my fan and has seen my TV show ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’ and wanted to meet me. I said to him, ‘Why would you call me here? I have left my six-month-old baby at home and came here thinking this is an event. ‘ Then, before I could even understand, he got down on one knee and said he wanted to marry me. I shouted at him, ‘I am married and have two children.’ But she said that my husband is not the right man for me and that he will be the father of my children. I was so scared that I started crying.
