Chaitra Navratri 2023: Ingredients for making black gram curry
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Chana – 2 cups (soaked overnight)
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Green chili – 3
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/4 tsp
Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
Green Coriander – 3 tbsp (chopped)
Rock salt – as per taste
Chaitra Navratri 2023: Easy method of making black gram curry
First of all, put the soaked black gram in the cooker, add a cup of water to it and put it on the flame. Keep the flame on high till 1 whistle comes. After the whistle, reduce the flame to medium and cook for 3 minutes.
Now put oil in a pan and heat it. Add cumin seeds to it. Now add chopped green chilies and ginger to it and fry lightly.
Then add coriander powder and turmeric powder to it and fry a little. Now put boiled gram in it and mix while roasting a little more. Then add water.
Cook the gram on high flame for 5 to 6 minutes. After this, turn off the gas and put green coriander on top. Now black gram curry is ready.

Semolina – 100 grams
Ghee – 1/4 cup
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
Cashew – 1 tsp (finely chopped)
Almonds – 1 tsp (finely chopped)
Raisins – 1 tsp

First of all heat a pan on the gas and take ghee in it.
When the ghee melts, add semolina to it and roast while stirring continuously with a spoon.
Keep in mind that semolina has to be roasted on low to medium flame. Keep stirring continuously so that semolina does not burn.
When the color of the semolina turns golden-brown and the aroma starts coming, then put dry fruits in it and fry it lightly. Now add water to it, then add sugar and keep stirring till it thickens.
After 4 to 5 minutes, take it off the flame and add cardamom powder. Halwa is completely ready.

Wheat flour – 2 cups
Ghee – 2 tbsp
salt – as per taste
water – as required

To make poori, take wheat flour in a big bowl and add ghee to it and mix well.
Knead a hard dough by adding little water.
Now cover the dough with a wet cloth and keep it for 15-20 minutes.
Now make balls of flour and prepare round-shaped puris.
Now put ghee in a pan and heat it.
Fry the puris in it one by one.
Now pure and delicious halwa, puri and black gram curry is ready to be offered to the mother and fed to 9 girls.
