A form of Mata Skandamata
The form of Skandamata is amazing. Skanda Dev (Bal Karthikeya) is seated in his lap. Mother is seated on a lotus seat. That is why she is also called Goddess Padmasa.

Worship method of the fifth day of Navratri-
- Flowers, lamps, holy water and food (Prasad) should be offered.
- One can offer a banana or other fruits along with six cardamoms to the Goddess.
- On this day, it is important to take bath, wear clean clothes and offer Prasad to the Goddess.
- Offer incense, flowers, betel leaves, betel nut and cloves etc. to the mother.
- After this perform the Aarti of Skandmata.
- Blow conch after Aarti.
- Where the statue of Skandmata is installed, pay obeisance to the mother.
