peanut sauce
Material
– 1 cup roasted peanuts
– 2 green chillies
– 1 inch piece of ginger
-1 tablespoon lemon juice
– Rock salt as per taste
– Water as per requirement
How to make peanut chutney
– First of all, lightly fry the peanuts in a pan on medium gas.
– Add roasted peanuts, green chillies, ginger, lemon juice and rock salt in a blender.
– Add water as per requirement and grind everything well. Prepare it like a thick paste.
– Taste the chutney and adjust the seasoning. You can add lemon juice to increase the sourness.
– You can eat it with Sabudana Khichdi, Kuttu Paratha or Vrat Dosa.
Dates and Tamarind Chutney
Material
– 1 cup dates
– 1/2 cup tamarind pulp
– 1/4 cup jaggery
– 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
– Black salt as per taste
– 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
– water as required
Method
– Remove the seeds from the dates and separate them. After this soak in hot water for 30 minutes.
– In a separate bowl, add tamarind pulp and jaggery and blend until smooth.
Now put it in a saucepan and add water as required and cook on low flame. Now add cumin powder, black salt and red chili powder and mix.
– After boiling, let it cool. You can enjoy date chutney while eating after evening puja.
