The actor and comedian is a huge fan of Sunil Grover and is popular for his comic characters like Guthi, Rinku Bhabhi and Dr. Mashoor Gulati in The Kapil Sharma Show. However, in 2017, the actor left the show due to a fight with host Kapil Sharma. Even though it has been many years since then, the controversy has not completely subsided. In a recent interview, Sunil Grover talked about being ‘replaced’ by a show without any notice and his statement left fans wondering if he was talking about The Kapil Sharma Show.

Sunil Grover talked about being replaced from a show without mentioning any names and said, “There was a show jisme main replaced ho gaya tha 3 din mein hi aur mujhe bata bhi nahi tha. I came to know from someone else.

The actor and comedian further added, “I doubted myself a lot, didn’t think I would be able to go again or shoot with those people. So I went into a shell for about a month. Then I thought maybe I won’t pursue it, but then I don’t know if it was some kind of stubbornness that made me say, ‘Chal koi nahi… ek baar aur try karte hain’.”

On the work front, Sunil Grover who started his acting career with television series Challa Lallan becoming the hero and went on to do several Bollywood films like `Gabbar is Back`, `Bharat`, `Baaghi` and his latest film `Alvida` is included. The actor will be next seen in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan. He also has a web series titled United Kache directed by Manav Shah. Sunil Grover will be seen playing the lead role in the web series, which will stream on Zee5 from March 31.
