He said, “We are investigating the complaint against Taapsee Pannu. No FIR has been registered on this yet. Appropriate steps will be taken in this matter after investigation.” Actually Taapsee Pannu posted a video and picture on Instagram on 14 March. The video is of a fashion show in which she is seen wearing Goddess Lakshmi’s locket in a deep neck dress. She is seen in red color outfit. The Hindu organization has raised objection regarding this.
Taapsee said this on the boycott trend
Recently, Taapsee had spoken openly on the Boycott trend. He says that the trend of boycotting Hindi films is nothing but a ‘joke’. The actress believes that appealing to boycott Hindi films on social media is like underestimating the intelligence of the audience. Taapsee says that she has gone through that phase when she used to get bothered by comments on social media, but now it doesn’t matter to her. Taapsee had said, “If the audience likes a film, they will definitely go to watch the film. If they don’t like the film, they won’t watch it. But appealing for boycott of Hindi films is like underestimating the intelligence of my audience.
