Coromandel Express Train Tragedy | Chiranjeevi, Salman Khan, Jr NTR express condolences on the triple train accident

The death toll in the train accident involving the derailment of Coromandel Express and Bengaluru-Howrah Express and a goods train in Odisha’s Balasore district on Friday evening rose to 280 on Saturday as rescue operations at the accident site were completed. So far more than 280 people have lost their lives in the accident and more than 900 people are reported to be injured. Rescue work is on.

According to Odisha Chief Secretary Pradeep Jena, another goods train was also involved, making it a triple train accident. The collision took place near Bahanaga railway station in Balasore district. As soon as the news hit the internet, several actors took to Twitter to express their condolences and asked fans to come forward in support of those in need.

Chiranjeevi requested the fans to be available for any urgent demand for blood units. Railways has started a high-level inquiry into the horrific train accident in Odisha, which will be headed by the Commissioner of Railway Safety, South-Eastern Division. Officials gave this information on Saturday. The Commissioner of Railway Safety works under the Ministry of Civil Aviation and investigates all such accidents. An Indian Railways spokesperson said on Saturday, “CRS (Commissioner of Railway Safety) SE (South-Eastern) Division A M Choudhary will investigate the accident.” Not available on this route.
