Da’Vine Joy Randolph said after winning the award, “To all the actors who are waiting for their chance, I would like to say that your life can change in a day. It’s not a question of ifs and buts, just keep trying.”

Los Angeles. Da’Vine Joy Randolph has won the Best Supporting Female Actor award at the 30th ‘Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards’. Randolph, 37, has taken her to new heights with her performance in Alexander Payne’s ‘The Holdovers’ and it looks like she may even win an Oscar.

Randolph said after winning the award, “To all the actors who are waiting for their chance, I would like to say that your life can change in a day. It’s not a question of ifs and buts, just keep trying.” The 30th edition of the ‘Screen Actors Guild Awards’ was held on Saturday. It was broadcast live for the first time on Netflix. This program took place in the ‘Shrine Auditorium and Expohall’ here.

The show previously aired on TNT and TBS for more than two decades, but its viewership gradually began to decline. Netflix acquired the rights to broadcast the SAG Awards in early 2023. The new rights were an indication that the rules for broadcasting this time would be different from before, including no advertising and the use of spoilers being allowed.
