Deepika Padukone to skip Project K grand event at SDCC, Mumbai News in Hindi

Mumbai, Actress Deepika Padukone will skip the grand event for upcoming sci-fi film ‘Project K’ at San Diego Comic-Con on July 20. Recently his first look from the film was released.
The reason behind the actress not attending the event is the ongoing Hollywood strike by SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artistes).
The actress will not attend the event to show solidarity with film, TV and radio artists in the US, who are on strike in the wake of increasing dependence on artificial intelligence and reduction in residual income by big Hollywood studios.
Earlier, other actors of the film like Prabhas and Kamal Haasan along with Rana Daggubati reached San Diego to attend the grand launch event of the film at SDCC.
The SDCC Celebrations will begin on 20th July with an exciting panel featuring special guests Kamal Haasan, Prabhas and Nag Ashwin. During this panel, the makers of ‘Project K’ will unveil the title, trailer and release date of the film. Viewers are in for a truly amazing experience on Comic-Con’s grandest stage.
‘Project K’ is a multilingual science fiction film produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani. The film is slated to release in theaters on 12 January 2024.
