Deoghar: Mobile phone snatched from girl, people caught two suspicious youths

A case of snatching of mobile phone from Belabagan girl Sweety Kumari by bike-borne assailants has come to light near Bela Bagan Durga Temple in Deoghar Nagar police station area. During this, Sweety was also pushed, due to which she got seriously injured. People took him to Sadar Hospital. After getting information about the incident, the city police reached the spot and by then the local people had caught two youths riding a bike. People handed over the youth riding the bike to the police. Police are interrogating the youth. Police said that the youth informed that the girl was hit by their bike. However, no mobile phone was recovered from the bike riders during the search. Till the time of writing the news, the police is busy investigating the matter. After the incident, local people informed the family members. The family reached the spot and brought Sweety to Sadar Hospital for treatment. The on-duty doctor administered first aid and sent Sweety home, declaring her condition to be out of danger.

Long jam in the city, people worried

While the traffic police were busy collecting fines in Deoghar on Monday, the city residents continued to struggle with the problem of traffic jam in the afternoon. There was a long traffic jam in Tower Chowk, Rai & Company Chowk, the road leading to Deenbandhu School, Madarsa Marg and Bajla Chowk area, in which dozens of vehicles were stuck. People leaving for their important work had to face inconvenience in the traffic jam. Many passengers going to Jasidih to catch the train were also delayed. Fuel worth thousands of rupees was also burnt unnecessarily in the vehicles. On receiving information about the jam, traffic policemen arrived and got the jam cleared. According to eyewitnesses, people remained troubled in the traffic jam in these areas for about an hour.
