Devoleena Bhattacharjee reacted in an interview given to ‘Aaj Tak’ on being trolled on religion. She said that she does not know what is the truth behind love jihad but it cannot be denied after seeing what we see daily in the news and on social media.
‘My marriage is going well, no problem’
She further says, ‘Our country is secular. Till date we have been taught to live together. I myself am married to a Muslim boy. I have many other relatives who have inter-religion marriages. Everyone is very happy. There is no problem of any kind.
‘If I ask you to recite a chapter of the Gita…’
Regarding trolling, Devoleena Bhattacharjee told, ‘Every day they are told a lot of things in the name of love jihad. Not only Muslims but people of my own religion also misbehave with me. Those who roam around as my well wishers. If I ask 100 of them to recite a chapter of the Gita, then see how they will stop speaking.’
