Mumbai Following the tradition of bringing Ganpati Bappa home in Mumbai, actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee is celebrating her first Ganpati festival after marriage.

The actress, who gained popularity by playing the role of Gopi Bahu in the serial ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’, will participate in the holy festival for the first time with her husband Shanwaz Shaikh.

The actress said, “Regardless of personal beliefs and customs, Lord Ganesha is considered the most loved and revered. He is considered the god of good beginnings and wisdom, new ventures are started in his name, and Important decisions of life are taken.”

She said, “This year my celebration is very special as I will be welcoming Ganpati Bappa home with my husband Shaan. The excitement is double and the celebration will also be double and grand. I am looking forward to celebrating my first Ganpati after marriage. “Curious.”

The actress is currently seen playing the lead role of Disha in ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’, she is a devotee of Lord Ganesha.

Devoleena shared, “Lord Ganesha also known as Vighneshwar is the remover of obstacles. It is his dharma to remove obstacles and he is always with me, I am sure that every obstacle can be overcome.” I am happy that he has given me his blessings for the new show on the professional front.

She further said, “I have been a great devotee of his since childhood and after coming to Mumbai from Assam, I started bringing Bappa home.”
