Dhanush shoots his next film near Tirupati Temple, filming stopped after devotees complain

Dhanush was recently seen in Captain Miller. The film was released on 12 January 2023. And days after the release of Captain Miller, Dhanush is back on the sets. The South Indian actor was spotted shooting for his next film with Shekhar Kammula in the streets of Tirupati temple. However, the shooting was stopped for some time.

Shooting of Dhanush’s film stopped after complaint by Tirupati devotees

Reports surfaced saying that Dhanush was recently shooting in Tirupati temple. The actor is working on his next film with Shekhar Kammula. The film also stars Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. The shooting was taking place on the ghats of Alipiri. This is the route through which the vehicles of devotees pass. However, devotees and their vehicles are being stopped and diverted to another route. The devotees were not happy with this and there was a jam. An NTV report said devotees started questioning the police as to how they allowed the producers to shoot near the temple. It is being said that the shooting was stopped due to this reason.

However, don’t worry as things were soon resolved. Also, it had no impact on the shooting as the shooting was completed. A source told Hindustan Times, “Yes, there was some trouble during the shooting but Shekhar managed to complete his shooting. It is a lie that the police has shortened the schedule.”

Dhanush visited Tirupati temple

Earlier on Wednesday, Dhanush was seen seeking blessings at Tirupati temple. He wore the traditional white pancha. He was wearing a gold and red shawl. After the darshan, the actor also greeted his fans and journalists. Everyone gathered around Dhanush to meet him and get photographs clicked with him. According to reports, this film starring Dhanush is based on the background of mafia. Apart from Dhanush and Rashmika, Jim Sarbh also plays the lead role in the film. Dhanush is making his Telugu debut with this film. Devi Sri Prasad is handling the music of the film.
