Dhindhora Baje Re teaser: New song from Rocky and Ranis love story to release tomorrow

Dhindhora Baje Re, the fourth song from Karan Johar’s romantic comedy Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, will be released on Monday. The teaser of the track was released on Sunday, along with information that the lead stars, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, will launch the Durga Puja song in Kolkata. The teaser of the song shows Alia and Ranveer in a traditional red outfit with gold embroidery. The setting is like a huge Durga Puja pandal, where the dancers in the background are also seen dressed in Bengali attire. Ranveer and Alia dance to the tunes of the song with irrepressible energy.

Dharma Productions, the banner of Karan Johar that is producing Rocky and Rani’s love story, posted the teaser on social media on Sunday. The caption reads, “The two hearts that used to beat as one, will now beat in the rhythm of #Dhindorabajere! Song releasing tomorrow #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani, Karan Johar’s 25th anniversary film – In cinemas this Friday.

If one remembers the teaser and trailer of Rocky and Rani’s love story, Dhindhora Baje Re is likely to come at a crucial juncture in the film, perhaps in the pre-climax. In the teaser, Ranveer and Alia’s characters can be seen aggressively arguing with each other over their family disputes. A slo-mo shot of Jaya Bachchan, who plays Ranveer’s grandmother in the film, walking out of the pandal can also be seen in the teaser.
