Hansika Motwani grabbed headlines when she announced her engagement with longtime boyfriend-entrepreneur Sohail Khaturia. Now in her reality show, Hansika Ki Love Shaadi Drama, which released on Disney+Hotstar, the actress spoke on the alleged claims and said that it was the price she paid for being a celebrity.

In the closing moments of the first episode of the drama series Hansika Ki Love Shaadi, Hansika addresses the allegations that she stole her best friend’s husband and was responsible for Sohail’s divorce from Rinke. Sohail said, the news of my earlier marriage came out and it came out in wrong light. It was made as if the breakup happened because of Hansika, which is absolutely false and baseless. My first marriage took place in 2014 and that marriage was very short lived. But just because we have been friends and someone saw pictures of me attending my wedding, so this speculation started.

Hansika said, “Just because I knew the person, doesn’t mean it was my fault. I have nothing to do with it. Because I’m a public figure, it’s normal for people to point me out and It was too easy to blame me.. It was the price I pay for being a celebrity.”
Meanwhile, Hansika married Sohail on December 4 at the Mundota Fort and Palace in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Their family members and close friends attended an intimate ceremony. They tied the knot according to Sindhi customs.
