New Delhi: Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh, who will be seen in the upcoming film ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’, is often seen showing glimpses of his kitchen on social media. I can enjoy food in a simple way also. Diljit always likes simple food. However he said that he avoids carbohydrates, and does not eat rice. ‘Immortal Singh Chamkila’ Sztar said, “I don’t eat rice. I eat pulses daily. I avoid carbs. I have carbs in the morning and then try to avoid them after that.

Sometimes after four-five days I feel like eating something and I eat something wrong at night. The ‘Lover’ hitmaker said, ‘Then I regret it in the morning.’ Diljit Dosanjh is all set for his upcoming film ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ directed by Imtiaz Ali. The film is based on a singer who was tagged the ‘Elvis Presley of Punjab’.

‘Chamkila’ was considered a controversial figure. The topics of his songs prominently included objectification of women, sexual violence, domestic violence and alcoholism. Chamkila and his wife Amarjot Kaur were murdered in 1988. ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ is a drama, in which Diljit plays the role of Chamkila and Parineeti Chopra plays his wife. This film is going to be released on Netflix on April 12.
