During an interview with Film Companion, Diljit Dosanjh was asked about the connection between art and pain. The singer and actor admits that he was very troubled by it as he had never experienced any pain or discomfort before in his life. Diljit will feel that even though he is a hardworking artiste, how will he reach that level of ‘madness’?

Diljit told that he has no pain in life. He then revealed that he initially tried to find pain after watching Ranbir Kapoor starrer Rockstar. Director Imtiaz Ali himself shares that there is no connection between great art and pain. He initially felt that pain makes for great art and this was his thought process until he worked on Rockstar. Imtiaz then realized that it was not so straightforward.
