Disha Patani attends Jamnagar Sports Festival; Okhamandal Dwarkesh XI won the final match

Jamnagar (Gujarat). Jamnagar Devbhoomi Dwarka MP Sports Mahotsav 2024 concluded with a grand ceremony. It was started in the spirit of ‘Khel-Takhele’.

Jamnagar-Devbhoomi Dwarka Sansad Sports Mahotsav 2024 received an excellent response from the people. It embodies Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Khelo India and Fit India pledge.

Cultural programs took place in the closing ceremony in the presence of famous folk singers Jigardan Gadhvi and RJ Devang. Apart from this, Bollywood actress Disha Patani was also present in this function as the chief guest.

During the function, the final cricket match of the sports festival was also played between Okhamandal Dwarkesh XI and Ram XI Gadu teams. The match remained thrilling till the last ball and ultimately Okhamandal Dwarkesh XI of Devbhoomi Dwarka district got a thrilling victory. Parliament Sports Festival-2024 is the initiative of MP Poonamben Madam. It received an overwhelming response from the people of Jamnagar Lok Sabha constituency.

The winning team and runners up were awarded trophies and the winning players were awarded certificates and trophies by MP Poonamben Madam. Apart from this, spectacular fireworks and colorful cultural programs were also organized to enthuse and entertain the people of Jamnagar. 82,000 players of different age groups and a record breaking 382 teams enthusiastically participated in the Sansad Khel Mahotsav-2024.

The festival included sports like Kabaddi, Athletics, Kho-Kho and Volleyball along with traditional games like Tug of War, Sack Race, Lemon Spoon Race, Musical Chairs. In this sports festival, competitions were organized at village level, school level, taluka level, regional level and Lok Sabha level.
