Please tell that the real name of actor Rajkumar is Singanallur Puttaswamayya Muthuraj. His career started at the young age of just eight, when he started working as a theater artist. His father used to work with veteran director Gubbi Veeranna at that time. He learned the nuances of acting only by joining this team. Apart from acting, he also tried his hand at singing. After doing theatre, he started working in the Kannada film industry and never looked back from there. He left his special mark in the Kannada film industry.

His film career started in the year 1954 with the Kannada film Bedara Kannappa. His very first film had rocked. Apart from working in more than 200 films, he also gave excellent films like ‘Mahatyam’, ‘Randheera Kanteerava’, ‘Kaviratna Kalidas’, ‘Jedara Bale’ and ‘Gauri’.
