Don 3: Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani are going to take action training from Thailand’s experts, Hollywood flavor will be added to Bollywood

Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar are planning to take the third installment of Don on the floors by August 2024. A week ago, Kiara Advani was officially announced as the leading lady of Don 3, presumably playing the role of Roma. Now, the makers are planning to start work on the project by next month with action training with experts from Thailand.

According to a report in Mid-Day, a source revealed, “Ranveer and Kiara will start their physical preparation with agility training from the end of March. Martial arts experts from Thailand have been included in it. Farhan Akhtar wants to increase the level of action in the film. The source further added, “In the last few years, Hindi cinema has seen all kinds of stylized action – war [2019] to Pathan [2023] And till the fighter. Therefore Farhan wants to make the action syntax new. He has held several meetings with action choreographers from India and other countries to discuss possibilities. He wants the palette to be different from what tentpole films have offered in recent years.

Earlier in February 2024, a source had told Bollywood Hungama, “The film is currently in the casting stage. It is 100% true that the pre-production of Don 3 will start next month. After this the team will start shooting the film from August this year. The first two Don films had surprising twists. Similarly, it is being said that Don 3 will also have some surprises for the audience.

According to a source close to the project, Don 3 will be the most expensive Don film. the source said “Don 1 and Don 2 with Shahrukh Khan were made on a good budget, but with Don 3, Farhan Akhtar aims to make a global film. Don 3 aims to not just compete with India’s action films but also go global on the scale front. Don 3 is Farhan’s attempt to create a global action thriller and there can be no one better than Ranveer Singh to lead this franchise into a new era.

The first film of the Don franchise, released in 2006 and produced by Excel Entertainment, was a remake of director Chandra Barot’s classic Don, starring Amitabh Bachchan and released in 1978. Don 2 was the sequel to the 2006 film and it continued the story of the dreaded Don.
