Reports say that several celebrities are under the scanner of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Mahadev money-laundering case, with Kapil Sharma and Hina Khan asked to appear before the central agency. It was said that Hawala operations are conducted on a large scale to send betting income to foreign accounts. It was said that a large amount of cash is also being spent in India to advertise betting websites to attract new users and franchise (panel) seekers. The promoters of the company are from Bhilai, Chhattisgarh and Mahadev Online Book Betting Application is a major syndicate that arranges online platforms to enable illegal betting websites.
