Emraan Hashmi never wanted to become an actor. He came into the field of acting suddenly. He had told during an interview that he was very scared of facing the camera.

He was afraid of being judged by people, he thought that he was not yet ready for acting and due to this fear, Emraan Hashmi changed his name to Farhan Hashmi, because some pundit had asked him to do so.

Imran was about to debut in the year 2001 with a film named Zindagi Ka Safar, but he was later removed from the film. After that, Imran made his Bollywood debut with the film Footpath, which did not do much at the box office.

After this he changed his name from Farhan to Imran. After that he gave many superhit films to Bollywood. There was a time when only Imran’s songs were on everyone’s lips.
