Mumbai: Recently, singer Arijit Singh was seen in the premises of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment in Bandra area of Mumbai. The singer was seen going to Salman’s house in an MPV. A fan of Salman shared this video on X (formerly Twitter). About a decade ago, there was a fight between the singer and the actor at an awards ceremony, the host of that awards ceremony was Salman Khan. Arijit won the Best Playback Singer Award for his voice in the album Aashiqui 2.

The best singer was announced at the ceremony, however, Arijit reached the stage late and Salman made fun of him, to which Arijit casually replied, ‘Sir, you guys take so long.’ The Tere Naam actor did not like this and that’s when the relationship between the two deteriorated. After this, Arijit texted Salman several times and apologized because two of his films were lost. He was not given a chance in Bajrangi Bhaijaan. His Jag Ghoomeya version in Sultan was given to Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

Arijit later posted a public apology on Facebook in 2016 to improve his relationship with Salman, but soon deleted it and has remained silent since then. Arijit is probably the only actor in the Hindi film industry who did not suffer any harm to his career despite not having good relations with Salman.

Seeing Arijit at Salman’s house, it seems that the two have ended their feud after nine years. A collaboration is likely to be mediated by composer Pritam Chakraborty, who is composing the music for Salman’s next film Tiger 3. Pritam has been Arijit’s mentor for almost 20 years.
