Los Angeles. Hollywood actor Ezra Miller made his first public appearance in nearly two years at the Los Angeles premiere of DC Studios’ The Flash. The beleaguered actor opened up about the allegations of misconduct against him and the various legal difficulties he faces while addressing fans and several industry figures at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood, reports Variety.
Miller was charged with burglary in Vermont in 2022 after a series of incidents, when police investigated his involvement in a robbery at a private residence. Their troubles began in 2020 when a video surfaced showing Miller strangling a woman outside a bar in Iceland. However no charges were filed.
According to ‘Variety’, the actor was also arrested twice in Hawaii, once for disorderly conduct and harassment. Miller pleaded not guilty to any count of misdemeanor assault in the Hawaii case and paid a $500 fine. The charge of harassment was dismissed.
Miller was given a rockstar welcome at the premiere of ‘The Flash’ and was introduced by his director, Andy Muschietti.
Miller told the director, I love you, maestro. I think you are amazing, and I think your work is monumental.
The studio announced ahead of time that the Los Angeles premiere would be Miller’s sole promotional commitment for the film. They walked the red carpet and didn’t stand for traditional on-camera and print interviews. Miller’s “The Flash” co-stars Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez attended the event.(IANS)
