Fighter Box Office Collection Day 1: Will Fighter break Pathan’s record? Know the opening day collection

After Bang Bang and War, Hrithik Roshan and Siddharth Anand are reuniting for the aerial action thriller, Fighter, which is set to release on the big screens on January 25, 2024.

Fighter has been given a run-time of 2 hours and 43 minutes by the Central Board of Film Certification. In which there are many evergreen songs as well as romantic scenes of Hrithik and Deepika.

Fighter is being released in India by Viacom 18 and the studio will give the film a wide release across over 4250 screens, making it one of the biggest releases ever for a Hindi film.

Advance booking for Fighter began on Saturday morning and the film showed an encouraging pace on the first day of pre-sale as it sold around 20,000 tickets in less than 24 hours across the top 3 national chains. After this, 15,500 tickets were sold on the second day, 18,000 tickets on the third day and 20,300 tickets on the fourth day.

So far Fighter has sold 83,200 tickets in the top 3 national chains – PVRinox and Cinepolis. There will be a final pre-sale of 1,50,000 tickets of the film in the last minute.

However, the bookings are set to be almost double that of Hrithik’s previous release, Vikram Vedha, which sold 60,000 tickets at the PIC. This is also better than some other films with more than 1 lakh pre-sales like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, 83, Drishyam 2 and RRR, but those films had strong word of mouth, which led to a larger viewership.

The opening day fortunes of Fighter will largely depend on the word of mouth of the film, because considering the advance booking, it is being said that it can do a business of Rs 23 to 25 crores. However, a rise in its collection can be seen on Republic Day.

During a media event, Shahrukh Khan also revealed about the film and said, “I have heard the story of Fighter and, I have to tell you that Deepika is the real fighter in the film. Hrithik has romantic interest.

Seeing the trailer of the film, it was easy to guess that it is a patriotic film revolving around the Air Force. In view of the increasing terrorist activities along the Line of Control, some of the top fighter pilots of the IAF came together and formed a special unit called Air Dragons.
