The collection of the second day of Fighter directed by Siddharth Anand has been revealed. After a weak start at the box office, Fighter made strong earnings on the second day. The film got the benefit of Republic Day holiday.
Siddharth Anand’s film Fighter witnessed a 70% jump at the domestic box office on the second day, making a collection of Rs 60 crore in India. Whereas worldwide it earned close to Rs 100 crore.
Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter had earned domestic earnings of Rs 22.50 crore on the opening day. According to media reports, on January 26, there was a jump in the film’s earnings and it made Rs 39 crore in India.
So far, Fighter’s domestic earnings have reached Rs 62 crore, which means it should cross the Rs 100 crore mark on Saturday itself. The film will get the benefit of the weekend and its earnings will increase further.
The domestic Day 2 earnings of Fighter are the eighth best earnings for any Hindi film in history. Let us tell you that Shahrukh’s Pathan has made Rs 68 crore, after blockbuster films like Animal (Rs 58 crore), Jawan (Rs 46 crore), Gadar 2 (Rs 43 crore).
Fighter has also left behind Adipurush’s second day Hindi collection (Rs 37 crore). Let us tell you that the story of Fighter is about how officers fight against terrorists who discuss plans to infiltrate terrorism into India. After which the best pilots of the Indian Air Force fight with them.
Fighter has been released on 4200 screens across the country. It is being said that after completing its journey in film theatres, this film will grace the streaming platform Netflix.
Although we still do not have correct information about the exact OTT release date. It is being speculated that the film is ready for pre-Holi screening of 2024.
Right now the path is clear for Fighter because no big film is being released in theaters right now. Because it has been banned in the Middle East, where a traditional Bollywood film gets about 25 percent marks.
While reviewing, Rakesh Roshan shared a post on Instagram, in which Fighter’s post is visible. With this he wrote, Saw the fighter…Warrior is the best Hrithik is the best…Deepika is the best, Anil is the best, Sid is the best….Salute to all.
