Siddharth Anand’s directed film ‘Fighter’ collected Rs 22.5 crore on the opening day. According to a report by Sacnilk, on Saturday the movie earned an estimated Rs 10.5 crore in India on its 10th day in all languages. However, these are preliminary figures and may be subject to change.
According to the portal, Fighter has earned Rs 162.75 crore so far. At the same time, the film has so far earned Rs 258.75 crore worldwide.
In Fighter, Hrithik Roshan has played the role of Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania alias Patty. Apart from Deepika Padukone, it also stars Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi and Chandan K Anand.
In a conversation with Zoom, actor Chandan K Anand talked about the possibility of a sequel to the film. He said, “If a sequel to Fighter is made, it would be great.”
Chandan’s Anand further said, its sequels can definitely be banned. It has a lot of potential and I want a sequel to be made because we need such patriotic stories because so many bloody films have been made in recent years.
Siddharth Anand said in a recent interview on the weak performance of ‘Fighter’, Fighter is a big leap for a filmmaker. This is a place that is unknown and completely new.
Siddharth Anand said, a large percentage of our country, I would say, 90 per cent, who have not flown in an aeroplane, who have not been to an airport, so how will they know what is happening in the film?
Siddharth Anand also said that he thought he was a bit alien. He did not understand what kind of excitement he should feel in aerial action. But once you enter the theatre, you realize that this is a basic film.

If media reports are to be believed, Hrithik Roshan has taken a fee of Rs 50 crore for working in Fighter. At the same time, Deepika Padukone has taken a fee of Rs 15 crore.
