Mumbai After videos of firecrackers being burst in a theater during the screening of Diwali-released film Tiger 3 went viral on social media, actor Salman Khan on Monday urged fans to enjoy the film without putting others at risk. According to police, fans burst crackers during a show of the film at Mohan Cinema located in Malegaon Cantonment area in Nashik district of Maharashtra on Sunday night, creating an atmosphere of fear among the people watching the film.

According to an official, the police are in the process of registering an offense under Indian Penal Code sections 435 (mischief by fire or explosive substance with intent to cause hurt) and 336 (act endangering life or personal safety of others) . He said that the identity of the accused person is being ascertained. Tiger 3, produced by Yash Raj Films, also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles. The film, directed by Maneesh Sharma, was released on Sunday on the occasion of Diwali.
