For the first time after the release, a huge decline in Pathan, lifetime 545 crores

For the first time since its release and during the mega blockbuster run, Pathan has seen a major drop in the collections. In its eighth week the film had collected 1.77 crores and now in the ninth week, the numbers have dropped drastically with only 47 lakhs.

One of the major reasons for this is the OTT release of Pathan this week which nears its eighth week and hence it is now setting records on the OTT medium and in the process bending its theatrical run.

In any case Whatever Is Coming was a bonus number for the Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan starrer. Before appearing on OTT, it was believed that Pathan would be successful in reaching 550 crores lifetime at the box office. After coming on OTT, the expectation was stopped at 545 crores but it will not be able to reach even this figure because till now its business is 543.22 crores and the attention of the audience has gone towards Bhola, Dusra and Hollywood film John Wick-4. .

Nevertheless, the film will run for 12 weeks with a very low count of screens and shows as there are no new releases till the release of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan on April 21. It means to say that there are 18 days left in the run of Pathan and in these 18 days the film will be able to do business in the middle of 1 crore.
