From Barbie to Bombay Meri Jaan, these blockbuster movies are going to release OTT this week

This week’s releases offer a wide variety of genres from comedy and action to thriller and romantic stories. Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Bhola Shankar’ is set to premiere on Netflix, while Amazon Prime Video presents the latest Hindi crime drama series, ‘Bombay Meri Jaan’. Bombay Meri Jaan (Hindi)

‘Bombay Meri Jaan’ directed by Shujaat Saudagar is a crime thriller based on the life of a Bombay gangster in post-independence. The story follows the heroes as they roam the crime-ridden streets of the city. Notable cast includes Kay Kay Menon, Avinash Tiwari and Amyra Dastur in pivotal roles. Bhola Shankar (Telugu)

Chiranjeevi starrer ‘Bhola Shankar’ is a remake of the 2015 Tamil film ‘Vedalam’. The film revolves around the vengeful journey of a taxi driver named Shankar, a devoted brother who is determined to seek justice for his sister. Along with Chiranjeevi, Tamannaah Bhatia, Keerthy Suresh and Sushant also play important roles in the film. Streaming on Netflix from September 15th.

Based on the fashion doll of the same name by Mattel, it is the first live-action Barbie film, following several computer-animated films and specials. The film stars Margot Robbie as the titular character and Ryan Gosling as Kane, and the pair embark on a journey of self-discovery following an existential crisis.
