Gadar-2, directed by Anil Sharma, got into controversies before its release. Firstly, during the shooting of the film in Himachal Pradesh, the film was surrounded by controversy when the makers shot the film in a house in Bhaled village of Palampur, Himachal Pradesh and did not give the agreed amount to its owner. The makers of Gadar 2 shot in this house for about 10 days.
The landlord says that the shooting was to be done in 3 rooms and a hall and the makers had made an agreement to pay a rent of Rs 11,000 per day.
The landlord alleged that the makers shot in the entire house apart from the designated place. Not only this, he also shot in his elder brother’s house. Meanwhile, those people had to face a lot of problems. Because of this, he demanded to stop shooting in his house by giving a bill of 56 lakhs to the makers.
And now the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has objected to a scene in the film. SGPC has sought action against Sunny as well as the film’s director.
Actually, SGPC has objection on a scene in Gadar-2. This scene of the film has been shot in a gurudwara. In this, Sunny Deol and actress Ameesha Patel are seen hugging each other. Along with this, a group is also seen doing Gatka behind. The shooting of the film is currently going on and while shooting this scene went viral on social media.
SGPC General Secretary Gurcharan Singh Grewal said that being a Sikh, Sunny Deol is filming such a scene in the premises of a Gurdwara. Both are in a posture which is condemnable in the Gurudwara premises and flowers are also being showered on them. They should understand that the Gurudwara has its decorum and such scenes cannot be shot here.
