Sunny Deol attended the grand screening of both the films and encouraged his son Rajveer Deol. Giving a media byte, the Gadar 2 star had said that it is important to support and encourage children. Talking to Lallantop, Sunny Deol said, “People keep talking about nepotism and I used to think what is this? Then later I started thinking, if a father does not do it for his child, then for whom does he do it? He further said that, be it acting or any other field, every father thinks about how to make the life of his child comfortable.

Sunny Deol further said, this word (nepotism) is mostly used by people who do not commit any fault. But they are disappointed by not getting success. Therefore, they use this word to express their frustration. This word has no meaning. Let us tell you that Sunny’s son Rajveer’s romantic comedy was released in theaters on October 5. Directed by Sooraj Barjatya’s son Avnish Barjatya, this film was much talked about before its release. However, the film received a lukewarm response at the box office.

Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel starrer ‘Gadar 2’ made a huge earning of Rs 527 at the box office. ‘Gadar 2’ broke records and created new records in a big way at the box office, like no other sequel film had done. I kept crying and laughing the whole night and evening. I also met my father (Dharmendra) and said, ‘No, I am not drunk, I am happy no matter what I do.’
